This article provides teachers with a step-by-step guide to incorporate a homeroom into their Learning Management System (LMS).
In a Learning Management System (LMS), a homeroom is a virtual space that serves as a central hub for students and families. It functions similarly to a traditional homeroom in a physical school, where students gather essential school information and expectations. In the LMS, the homeroom is used for sharing important course information and expectations. A course homeroom can be placed in pages of a LMS and may be called something different, like the landing page, community information, course home page, etc. Teachers may create interactive homerooms such as Google slides that are linked to the homeroom page.

When adding a landing page or while you're in the editor, click in the Insert Link icon. Paste the URL link in the space provided, add text, ensure the open in a new tab is checked, and then click Insert.
