This article explains how to allow cookies to enable login to a Lincoln Learning Solutions application or platform when using the Google Chrome browser.
IMPORTANT: If you are unable to log in to any Lincoln Learning Solutions application or platform when using Google Chrome, you may need to allow cookies. Follow these steps to change your cookie settings and enable login.
OPTION 1
IMPORTANT: This option is a temporary fix when using an incognito tab. You may need to repeat these steps for each session.
Click the padlock icon next to the address.
In the pop-up window, click Cookies.
In the pop-up window, click the Blocked tab. Select the appropriate URL from the list and click Allow. Then, click Done.
Click Reload to reload the page.
OPTION 2
IMPORTANT: This option is a persistent fix that should remain in place even when cookies and cache are cleared. You should not have to repeat these steps with each login.
In the right-hand toolbar when using Chrome, click the three vertical dots. Then, on the pop-up menu, click Settings.
Scroll down to Privacy and Security. Then, click Cookies and other site data.
In General Settings, click Add to the right of Sites that can always use cookies.
In the pop-up window, enter the URL(s) where you want to allow cookies in the Site field. Then, click Add.
IMPORTANT: If you are a student unable to log in to Buzz, you must add these two URLs, one at a time, and in this order:
- [*.]lls-prod-oh-pulse.auth.us-east-2.amazoncognito.com
- [*.]pulse-api.llsapps.org
TIP: To save time, copy/paste each URL into the Site field to prevent from having to manually enter them. Remember to click Add after entering each one.
The added site(s) will now be listed.
IMPORTANT: If a Lincoln Learning Solutions site is permitted to use cookies via a Settings tab, the settings will remain until you clear your cookies/cache settings. Follow these steps to save your site settings.
Under Privacy and security, click Clear browsing data.
In the Advanced tab, scroll down the menu to Site Settings. Ensure the box is unchecked. Then, click Clear data.
