Assignments to be Graded Column in Pulse

Navigate to the Academic Snapshot

From My Dashboard, click Students | Teach under Users.

Select and click on the student’s name. Then, click the Enrollments tab and select Snapshot.

Using the scroll bar at the bottom of the page, locate the Assignments to be Graded column.

 

NOTE: The Assignments to be Graded column calculates those assignments needing to be graded by the teacher as well as any excused within the gradebook of the course.

TIP: The Assignments to be Graded column is also found if you go to Reports and then Enrollment Report. This will show the Enrollment Report for multiple students across multiple courses; you can filter for a specific student from this view.

Verifying the Assignments to be Graded in Buzz

If you currently teach the course in which the student is enrolled, or you are observing the student, click the bee in the upper right-hand corner of Pulse to open Buzz.

Verifying Assignments as a Teacher

As a teacher, go to the Gradebook for the course in which the student is enrolled.

Once in the gradebook, click on the student’s name.

Verifying Assignments as an Observer

As an observer, click on the student.

Then in the appropriate class, click the Grades icon.

Identification of Assignment Marks

Excused items are marked with an X under Status. Completed items are marked with under Status. Completed items with teacher feedback are marked with under Status.

Completed items that need grading are identified by under Status. Items marked with an X to the left of the activity name are not included in the gradebook and are not calculated into assignments that need grading.

Remember, the Assignments to be Graded column calculates those assignments needing to be graded by the teacher as well as those excused within the gradebook of the course.
