Disabling Proxy Settings in Google Chrome for Windows

This article explains how to disable your proxy settings in Google Chrome for Windows.

Open Google Chrome.

At the top right of the browser toolbar, click More.

Select Settings.

Click Advanced drop-down arrow.

Select System.

In the System section, click Open proxy settings

This will open the Internet Properties window. Under Local Area Network (LAN) settings, click on LAN settings.

Under Automatic configuration, uncheck Automatically detect settings. Also make sure Use a proxy server for your LAN is unchecked.

Click OK.

Click OK.
