Including Students in Graded Activities in Learning Tree

This resource details how teachers can include students, who were previously excused, in graded activities in Learning Tree.

NOTE: Including students in graded activities is a step taken after the students have been excused from the activities. Click here for more information regarding excusing students from graded activities.

Locating Activity and Student to Include

Begin by clicking the Learning tab of your community.

Locate the graded activity in which you would like to include the student and select the More Options icon.

From the pop-up menu, select Progress.

From the members list, select the More Options icon on the student whom you’d like to include in the activity.

NOTE: A student can be included in a previously excused graded activity before or after the activity is completed.

Including an Excused Activity Before It's Completed

Select the More Options icon on the student who has not started the excused activity and whom you’d like to include.

From the pop-up menu, select Include.

NOTE: Including students in an excused graded activity will add it back into their report card and place an NS on the activity for the previously excused student in the teacher’s report card.

Including an Excused Activity After It's Completed

Select the More Options icon on the student who has completed the excused activity and whom you’d like to include.

From the pop-up menu, select Details.

In the student’s assessment summary, select Include.

NOTE: Including students in an excused graded activity will add it back into their report card and place the student’s score on the previously excused activity in the teacher’s report card.
