Algorithm

An algorithm is a set of clear, step‑by‑step instructions that tell a computer what to do. It takes in information, follows the steps in order, and gives you an answer at the end.

Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence is when computers do tasks that usually need human thinking—like learning, planning, understanding language, and recognizing patterns. AI uses data to spot patterns and make decisions or predictions with little help from people.

Chatbot

A chatbot is a software application that is designed to imitate human conversation through text or voice commands.

Generative AI

Generative AI is a kind of computer technology that can create new things—like pictures, stories, or other text—by learning from many examples. When you give it a prompt, it uses what it learned to make something new.

Guardrails

Guardrails are mechanisms and frameworks designed to ensure that AI systems operate within ethical, legal, and technical boundaries. They prevent AI from causing harm, making biased decisions, or being misused.

Hallucination

Hallucination refers to an incorrect response from an AI system, or false information in an output that is presented as factual information.

Larger Language Model

A large language model is a type of deep‑learning computer program that learns from huge amounts of text. It uses what it learns to understand and predict words and sentences. LLMs can help rewrite or translate text, answer questions, and even create computer code. They are useful because they can help people and organizations create content more quickly.

Machine Learning

Machine learning is when computers learn on their own by finding patterns in data. It’s a part of AI and helps computers make better decisions by improving the rules they follow over time.
