Lincoln AI Overview
Lincoln Learning Solutions (LLS) has partnered with Creatium to create an innovative AI chatbot option for clients to enable for student enrollments. As a pay-by-enrollment feature, Lincoln AI uses metadata on the learning object to refer students to the content within the learning object they are viewing. It can point to aspects of the lesson for review and remediation.
Depending on the product option, typing a question or using the built-in microphone feature allows students to engage and interact with the chatbot, strengthening their subject mastery. This allows free-flowing communication between the learning assistant and student providing a lifelike study session for content accrual and retention.
There are two options for Lincoln AI:

Video
The video chatbot is a feature that when enabled is available on the learning object. Students will be able to interact with an AI-generated learning assistant who will answer content-based questions.
Text
When enabled for students, the text chatbot will be available on the learning object. Students will be able to open the feature and ask questions regarding content.
IMPORTANT: Chatbots will NOT be available in LLS Assess Its.

Q. How does Lincoln AI protect personal information?
A. Lincoln AI does not store or share any student information.
Q. Can Lincoln AI present information not found in the course?
A. Lincoln AI can extend knowledge beyond learning object information for a contextual learning experience. All information presented is related to the content of the lesson.
Q. What will Lincoln AI do if a student asks them to complete work on their behalf?
A. While Lincoln AI will assist students and provide information, it will only provide appropriate content-related responses, prohibiting students from asking the Lincoln AI to complete work on their behalf.
