Report Options

The purpose of this article is to provide an overview of the various reports options for clients using Lincoln Learning in Pulse and/or Buzz.

Click on the below links to navigate directly to that section.

Pulse Reports

Reports in Pulse can be run by a Client Admin, Mentor, or Teacher.

Enrollment Report

The Enrollment Report provides student enrollment information for all students. This includes any data on the grid, such as:

    • total assessments
    • points earned
    • possible points
    • overall progress
    • gradable progress
    • grade percentage
    • total time in class
    • last activity timestamp
    • last assessment name: last activity the student clicked on in the course

When looking at the Enrollment Report, you will see 3 different percentages.  Below are the definition of each.

    • Overall Progress: What percentage of the course the student has completed
    • Gradable Progress: What percentage of the gradable items the student has submitted

TIP:  If you look at the Total Assignments column, this will give you a general idea of how many total assessments are also in the course.

    • Grade Percentage: Current grade percentage in the course

TIP:  Points Earned and Points Possible columns can support the details found in Grade Percentage.

NOTE: The Enrollment Report is a snapshot of details based on the last time the data was refreshed. This data refreshes regularly, but the timeframes can vary based on how much data is being pushed from Buzz to Pulse.

TIP: This report can be generated for all students, a single student, or a subset of students. Click here for a video on how to filter a data grid.

Student Activity Report

The Student Activity Report extracts data from the Learning Management System (LMS), Buzz,  to provide information about student activity in the system, specifically minutes spent in a class by date.

IMPORTANT: If there is no time spent, there will be no record on the report.

TIP: Student Activity by Week can be generated from this report by exporting to Excel and using PivotTables. Click here to access steps on this additional report option.
