General Details

Student Resources provides quick access to essential course, technology, and support information for students, families, and mentors. It helps users troubleshoot common issues without having to reach out to instructors or technical support.

Overview

Locating the Student Resources

Student Resources are in the first module or folder titled Course Resources. Open that folder, then select the Student Resources link.

Let’s Get Started

The Let’s Get Started section combines general resources that apply across all subjects with course-specific materials tailored to each class, including academic expectations, course structure, assessments, and pacing. It also provides lesson‑specific materials and a full worksheet collection. 

Pacing Guide

The Pacing Guide shows the scope and sequence of the course. The tabs at the bottom of the document allow users to switch between semesters.

Materials and Worksheets

Materials and Worksheets are included in each Learning Object. Users can access full collections through these links.

The resources found here link directly to Lincoln Learning Solutions Help Center.

Student Orientation provides key videos addressing learning management system navigation, course features, assessment submission, and other important tasks.

Resources for Parents and Mentors

This section provides key resources to help families support student success, including Help Center resources, course alignment information, and K–5 supports, along with options for discussions, collaboration, and interactive learning tools.

NOTE: Depending on the course and grade level, this section may contain additional resources. For example, the Parent and Teacher Guide accompanies our K-5 core courses and Social and Emotional Guides come with our K-2 core courses. Also, the Literacy in K-5 English Language Arts resource can be found in ELA K-5 courses.

Course Alignment Map

A key resource in this section is the Course Alignment Map. This document includes two primary tabs. The Course Objectives tab highlights the overarching objectives for the course.

The detailed Lesson Objectives tab lists the standards, course and module objectives, instructional materials, activities, assessments, and tools.

Student Interaction Opportunities

The Student Interaction Opportunities section includes Discussions and Groups resources that support regular and substantive interaction among students, teachers, and course content through discussions, collaboration, reflection, and active learning opportunities. It also includes suggestions on supportive Tools that help foster engagement, communication, and meaningful participation throughout the course.

Discussion and Groups

Teachers may add group discussion and learning opportunities in their courses within the LMS, if desired. These activities provide meaningful ways for students to reflect on their learning, collaborate with peers, and deepen their understanding. Options include kickoff discussions, module-based collaboration activities, and guided reflection templates.

Tools

Instructors might leverage tools such as discussions, chats, and collaborative spaces to promote student engagement and interaction. While these tools may look different in each platform, they all encourage active participation and learning.

Technology Information

The Technology Information section includes access to technical support resources, contact options, and essential technology information, along with key Lincoln Learning policies, system requirements, and accessibility statements.
