Using Quick Filters in Data Grids in Pulse

This article explains how to use Quick Filters in the Users, Courses, and Enrollments tabs in the Explorer view in Pulse.

IMPORTANT: Quick Filters in Explorer data grids are available for UsersCourses, and Enrollments.

To begin using Quick Filters, log in to Pulse. From My Dashboard or the navigation at the top of the page, select UsersCourses or Enrollments. Then, click the Quick Filters tool.

Select an option from the drop-down menu.

IMPORTANT: The options available in each tab’s Quick Filter are unique to that tab and to your specific user permissions. If you are a teacher, for example, you may see additional options on the drop-down that are available to an administrator.

Once a filter is applied, all data specific to that filter displays.

NOTE: In this example, all active students with no Active Enrollments populate on the grid.

TIP: To clear the Quick Filters, click the x next to the quick filter dropdown.
