Lincoln Learning Solutions (LLS) provides students with a variety of online learning opportunities through a number of unique curriculum options.

As a parent or guardian supporting your child's learning, you will find the following articles supportive. 

  • Understanding Online Learning: This article highlights similarities and differences between traditional and online learning and defines terms related to online learning environments. After reading the article, make sure you can answer the following questions:
    • Do you understand the terms associated to online learning?
    • Who is teaching your student? Is it a Lincoln Learning Teacher Facilitator or a teacher at your school?
  • Knowing Your Student's Learning Management System: This article outlines LMS features with which to be familiar as a parent or guardian. After reading the article, make sure you can answer the following question:
    • What Learning Management System (LMS) is your student using? Are they using Buzz, Canvas, Schoology, or something else?
  • Knowing Your Student's Curriculum: This article provides an overview of the Lincoln Learning curriculum design. After reading the article, make sure you can answer the following question:
    • What curriculum is your student enrolled in with Lincoln Learning? Empowered? State Empowered? Auto-graded? Credit Recovery? Or a mixture of solutions?
